Ripple Carafe-Set S
The Ripple Carafe-Set S has been created by Ferm Living for the brand Ferm Living. Sitting on a table or kitchen counter, it will add a look of old-school charm. This is thanks to the grooved lines that run down their length.
The Ripple Carafe-Set S has a carafe and a small glass. Both are made from strong, fine, light glass. The glass can be used not only for taking drinks poured from the carafe but also to cover it. The set stands out with its 1920s fluting that puts tactile grooves on its surface. The look is achieved with a manual process known as mouth-blowing and a mould. Glass is heated until it melts and then it is poured into a mould. A mouth-blowing pipe is used to blow on the molten glass and disperse it into every part of the mould. It is then left to solidify and when it does, it will have taken the shape of the mould including the fluting detail. Due to the handmade nature, there may be slight variations between each piece.
The carafe in the Ripple Carafe-Set S has a height of 24cm and a diameter of 9cm. It has a capacity of 1 litre. The glass has a height of 6.1cm and a diameter of 7.6cm. It has a capacity of 0.2 litres. It is available in clear or tinted glass and is dishwasher safe.
