Tolomeo Faretto Wall Lamp
The Tolomeo Faretto Wall Lamp has been created by Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi for the brand Artemide. Tolomeo is a popular collection of lamps from Artemide which blends hinged aluminium structures with fine industrial aesthetics. This entry in the series is a compact wall lamp which can supplement main lights and illuminate confined spaces such as hallways effectively.
The Tolomeo Faretto Wall Lamp has a cup-shaped diffuser which has been made from anodised aluminium with a silver matt finish. This diffuser creates a broad glow which can be trained outwards or directly downwards thanks to a hinged joint behind the luminaire. The lamp is supported by a bracket and circular base made from polished aluminium, and there is a discreet loop attachment which makes moving the shade easier.
The Tolomeo Faretto Wall Lamp measures 27cm wide and has a height of 23cm, making it ideal for slotting into awkward spaces. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb, and the on/off switch can be found on the base. Use single Faretto lamps for bedside reading lights, or combine multiple lamps in series for larger spaces. Wherever it is used, this Tolomeo masterpiece will be practical, attractive and highly adaptable.
