Gem LED Suspension Lamp
The elegant and striking Gem LED Suspension Lamp was created for Italian manufacturer Foscarini by the Ludovica + Roberto Palomba design studio.
Based in Milan, the husband and wife team of Ludovica + Roberto Palomba has won numerous awards including the Compasso D'Oro, Red Dot, Elle Decoration International Design Award and Design Plus. The architects and designers are known for distinctive products that exude individuality; exceptional quality is a trademark of theirs, and their collaboration with prestigious Italian lighting manufacturer Foscarini has produced a host of exciting pieces.
The Gem LED Suspension Lamp is made from mouth-blown opaque glass, and the surface is acid-etched to create a pleasing, undulating wave effect. Its slender suspension wire almost disappears when illuminated, and the pendant appears to float in mid-air. An elegant addition to any dining room or lounge, this beautiful lamp acts as both a functional room accessory and a work of art.
