Gregg LED Suspension Lamp
The Gregg LED Suspension Lamp was created by Roberto Palomba and Ludovica Palomba for the Foscarini label. With its bubble-like form, it will provide a playful element for contemporary rooms and offices.
The Palombas are one of the most prominent partnerships in modern Italian design, having created some stunning products since starting their practice in 1994. From their base in Milan, they fuse a knowledge of engineering and structure with a love of craft and art, resulting in products which balance beauty and practicality in equal measure.
The Gregg LED Suspension Lamp is a fine example. Intended to resemble pebbles worn down to a perfect smoothness by the forces of water, they have an organic, natural feel which will soften the stark lines of modern interiors. And they also feature some technically impressive elements, such as their finely blown glass diffusers. A number of Gregg suspension lamps are available, including 31 x 26 x 26 cm, 47 x 40 x 40 cm and 21 x 16 x 17 cm varieties, and they can be hung in combinations for the perfect arrangement. All use energy-efficient LED bulbs and are light enough to handle easily.
