Rituals 3 Wall Lamp
This Rituals Wall Lamp was designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for the Italian lighting firm Foscarini.
Since its inception in Murano, Venice in 1981, Foscarini has grown into a lighting manufacturer admired internationally for its creativity in lamp design and adherence to manufacturing excellence. Early designs drew on the glass blowing heritage of Murano but soon diversified. Foscarini's reputation attracts the region's most innovative designers. These include the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola who has created the strikingly ornate Caboche range of lamps and chandeliers.
Fashioned from blown satin glass and lacquered metal, the Rituals Wall Lamp draws inspiration from Japanese style rice paper lanterns. The result is a lighting solution of delicate beauty that emits a soft, relaxing luminescence. It comes in two sizes one measuring 24 x 24 x 21 cm with a diffuser diameter of 19cm, and the other 26 cm x 26 cm x 34 cm with a diffusers diameter of 24cm. This flexible unit can be turned upside down for variety, and comes with an external dimmer. The unit's flexibility allied to the soft light and striking form make this wall sconce perfect for use in any home or business setting.
