Egg™ Chair Loungechair Fabric
The stylish Egg Chair Loungechair Fabric was created by Arne Jacobsen for the Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen.
Arne Jacobsen was a prominent architect and furniture designer who began collaborating with Fritz Hansen in 1934. He received international acclaim for his design of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. It was here that the Egg series was showcased, and it has since become a popular and timeless piece of furniture.
The Egg Chair Loungechair Fabric consists of a star base made of brushed aluminium, mounted on a pedestal of satin polished steel. The seat shell is moulded from polyurethane with glass fibre reinforcement. On top of this is a strong foam section that covers the shell, which is then covered in luxurious fabric. The Egg Chair Loungechair Fabric is moulded to match the contours of the human body, assuring a comfortable and relaxing sitting experience for the user. Its seat height is 37cm and the armrests are 58cm high. This iconic chair can enhance any office or conference room used alone or in groups, or is suitable for use around the home.
