Egg™ Footrest Fabric
The Egg Chair Footstool Fabric was designed in 1958 by the late Arne Jacobsen and is produced by long-established Scandinavian brand Fritz Hansen.
The fruitful relationship between Arne Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen dates back to 1934, with their break-through happening in 1952 with the renowned Ant chair. Arne Jacobsen went on to become a prolific and celebrated furniture designer and architect whose designs are some of the most iconic in the 20th century. He was the recipient of numerous awards including the C.F Hansen Medal in 1955, Prince Eugen Medal for Architecture in 1962 and ID Prize for Industrial Design in 1967.
The boldly-styled Egg Chair Footstool Fabric is designed to complete other Egg collection chairs, as well as working well as a standalone piece. Featuring a durable fabric-covered seat pad and steel and aluminium frame, this piece is as long-lasting as it is attractive. With a length of 56cm and a height of 37cm, this non-rotating footstool's compact size means it works well in all interior spaces. The neutral colour tones and matte finish of the fabric seat pad contrast elegantly with the satin finish metal legs and frame, lending an effortless chicness to any room.
