Suspence™ P2 Suspension Lamp
The Suspence P2 Suspension Lamp was designed by the GamFratesi studio for the brand Fritz Hansen.
The Danish design label Fritz Hansen was created by a talented cabinet-maker in the late 19th-century, who named his company after himself. Today it is known for reworking iconic designs in furniture, lighting and home accessories as well as for promoting new design talent. Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi make up the GamFratesi Design Studio. Their collaboration brings together their Danish and Italian backgrounds, giving Nordic minimalism and Italian design flair to their work. Among their many awards is the International Young Designer of the Year.
The Suspence P2 Suspension Lamp features a flowing organic shape in monochrome shades that transforms strong movement into a solid form. The movement is revealed with a pulled tip at the top of the shade. Concealed inside is a polycarbonate infinity diffuser that delivers a downward glare-free light. The shade is made in a choice of lacquered or polished metal finishes with a 300cm PVC cord in a matching or complementary shade. The diffuser requires a 100W halogen bulb. The Suspence P2 Suspension Lamp measures 36cm in height and has an overall diameter of 38.5cm.
