Swan™ Chair Fabric Black Base
The Swan™ Chair Fabric Black Base has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. The Danish brand is dedicated to occupying the space between the old and the new. It does this by putting out innovative, modern designs along with iconic ones that have timeless appeal. The Swan™ Chair Fabric Black Base fits the bill of an old icon perfectly. The 1958 lounge chair was a big hit with its supreme comfort and organic, sculptural silhouette that can now be enjoyed in homes. It has a high backrest that tapers towards the bottom. It then broadens out into a generously sized seat with upturned sides. The shell is made of polyurethane foam reinforced with fibreglass. The chair rests on a stem that has a black satin-chromed, swivel center made of steel tubes. At the bottom is a four-star base, also black, that is made of moulded aluminum. Each star has leg ferrules. The chair is finished with premium quality upholstery fabric from the brand Kvadrat.
The Swan™ Chair Fabric Black Base has a width of 74cm, a height of 77cm and a depth of 68cm. It has a seat height of 40cm, an armrest height of 58cm and a backrest height of 77cm.
