The About a Chair AAC 221 Swivel Chair Polished Base has a mid-height straight-edged backrest. It then dips downwards which forms slanted armrests. The seat is also curved because it follows the contours of the backrest. Its outer edge is rounded which adds to the chair's dips and rises that add up to a series of graceful curves. The shell is covered with a layer of foam and padding. It is hidden by upholstery done with fabric from the high-quality Kvadrat range. It is a blend made mostly of wool which makes the fabric soft and plush. The shell sits on a frame made of cast aluminium that has a swivel mechanism. A stout stem underneath it is divided into a prong-like shape at the bottom. It has four legs with gliders underneath. The base is polished with lends the chair a high-end, luxe look.
