Louis Ghost Armchair
The Louis Ghost Armchair has been created by Philippe Starck for the brand Kartell. French architect and industrial designer Starck aspires to create designs that heighten the senses and add not only function but aesthetics to a room. This and his love for experimenting leads him to create innovative pieces like the Louis Ghost Armchair. Inspired by the Louis XV chair it is named after, this chair is made of polycarbonate 2.0 through a process of single mould injection. It gets the ghost name from this material, which you can see through. This innovative chair has a medallion-shaped backrest and the intriguing detail of armrests of different lengths. The chair has a well-sized seat. The shell sits on a frame made of the same material with back legs that are angled outwards slightly for added stability and durability.
The Louis Ghost Armchair has a height of 94cm, a length of 54cm and a width of 55cm. It has a seating height of 47cm and an armrest height of 67cm. It is suitable for outdoor use and can be stacked up to six chairs high. Felt anti-slip seating mats are available for purchase separately. The chair is available in different colours.
