Bloom S2 Suspension Lamp
The Bloom S2 Suspension Lamp has been created by Ferruccio Laviani for the brand Kartell. Italian architect and industrial designer Laviani launched his career when the colourful and idiosyncratic design movement was going strong in the 1980s. His designs had the movement's characteristic bold colours and whimsical design. His experimental, playful touch can be seen in the Bloom S2 Suspension Lamp. Made of polycarbonate, it is shaped like a ball and has an outer surface that looks like it has spikes. It is actually a frame made of tubular polycarbonate that is completely covered with minute transparent double corolla polycarbonate flowers. This unexampled mass-Coloured thermoplastic technopolymer lamp is crafted by hand.
The Bloom S2 Suspension Lamp has a height of 19 cm and a diameter of 28 cm. Its cable has a length of 235cm. The lamp is suspended from the ceiling with one straight cable and one curved one, adding intrigue and visual interest. It comes in a selection of metallic colours mixed in with transparent technopolymer. The appropriate lamp with the G9 socket can be ordered under accessories.
