Fiber Lounge Chair Steel Base
The Fiber Lounge Chair Steel Base has been created by Berlin-Iksos for the brand Muuto. It is a Sustainable Choice product. It is made of a plastic and wood fibre composite. 80% of the plastic is recycled and the wood is FSC®-certified. The chair also has EU Ecolabel certification.
The Fiber Lounge Chair Steel Base has a lounge-style look and feel thanks to its reclined backrest. The shell is a singular piece that forms a complete circle that is made up of a series of graceful curves. It starts from the backrest that has a straight upper edge with rounded side edges. The subtle curving on the sides then continues downwards to the deep, wide seat that has similar arching. A rounded outer edge completes the circle of curves. The shell is supported by a metallic frame. It is made of rounded stainless steel rods with gliders underneath. They are slightly outspread rather than straight which serves to enhance the chair's strength and stability.
The Fiber Lounge Chair Steel Base has a width of 60cm, a height of 74.4cm and a depth of 69cm. Its seat height is 38cm. It comes in a selection of bright and neutral colours.
