Fluid Suspension Lamp L Ø42cm
The Fluid Suspension Lamp L Ø42cm is a joint production of Mârten Claesson, Ola Rune and Eero Koivisto from the prestigious Scandinavian label Muuto. Inspired by the way water droplets compress when they come into contact with a surface, the lamp has a wonderfully natural look, and will be the ideal accompaniment to designer table and chair sets in a contemporary living room.
Claesson, Rune and Koivisto are a Stockholm-based trio who devote their time equally to architecture and design. Their lighting products are informed by how they will harmonise with actual interiors, instead of as objects in themselves, which makes them doubly practical. In this case, the designers have used matt glass to create a large lamp bulb that diffuses light gently and broadly. It will be just as effective at illuminating office workstations as dining or coffee tables.
