The Polygon Clock Nelson was created by George Nelson for the Swiss design label Vitra.
Since the 1950s, Vitra has been embodying an innovative and functional outlook on furniture and accessories for domestic and public spaces. George Nelson is credited as the founder of American modernism and was a huge influence on 20th-century designers such as Charles and Ray Eames. His classic pieces are still as relevant today as when they were created. Among his prizes was a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
With the Polygon Clock Nelson, the label has successfully brought a classic Nelson design from the 1950s firmly into the modern world.
