Rotary Tray
The Rotary Tray was created by Jasper Morrison for Vitra, a leading Swiss design name.
Launched in the 1950s, Vitra brings together a team of talented contemporary designers as well as reworking iconic furniture and accessory designs from earlier decades. Its innovative pieces work just as well in the home as in public spaces and always successfully blend form with function. British-born Jasper Morrison is known for the understated and clean lines he brings to his designs for modern items. His award-winning work is widely exhibited in places such as MoMA in New York.
With its flowing lines and subtle colours, the Rotary Tray is an excellent example of Morrison's everyday design philosophy. Constructed with a rotating upper tier, the tray provides a variety of functions in any room of the home as well as in offices. It works just as well holding small toys in a child's bedroom as it does containing toiletries in a contemporary bathroom. The Rotary Tray is constructed from ASA plastic finished with a textured surface. It measures 12cm in height, and the diameter of the lower tier is 30cm.
