Promotion Thonet S 64 Cantilever + Fur. Designed by Marcel Breuer in 1929-30, the S 64 cantilever armchair is a well known classic furniture piece of the German design house Thonet. The Thonet S64 armchair is known as one of the most famous design classics of the twentieth century.
The S 64 combines a steel tube frame with wood and wicker in a sophisticated way. The remarkable design turns the Thonet armchair from Marcel Breuer into a distinctive design classic with Bauhaus style. The self-supporting frame of the Thonet armchair is made of chromed steel tube and with its resilient runners provides seating comfort – this makes the chair to a static masterpiece.
