The EA 108 Aluminium Chair Fabric has been created by Ray & Charles Eames for the brand Vitra.It was designed in 1958 but it continues to be appreciated and in demand. It is lightweight and adaptable which makes it supremely comfortable.

The EA 108 Aluminium Chair Fabric has a high, wide backrest and a seat that is also well-sized. Armrests that match the frame enhance its comfort. It defies convention with its use of a frame instead of a shell. Aluminium used during production makes the chair as light as it is durable. Black upholstery fabric goes over the frame. Hopsak fabric has been used for this. It is a polyamide that has a flat weave. It has been pulled taut over the frame in a vertical pattern. The shell rests on a swivelling base that is also made of die-cast aluminium. The underside of the seat has a curved metallic bar that has a round stem. It branches out into a prong-shaped base at the bottom. It has four legs that each have gliders underneath.

The EA 108 Aluminium Chair Fabric has a width of 58cm, a height of 83cm and a depth of 59cm. It has a seat height of 40cm, an armrest height of 66cm and a backrest height of 42cm. It is available in neutral colours.
