Bonaparte Armchair
The Bonaparte Armchair has been created by Eileen Gray for the brand ClassiCon. It was designed in 1938 yet it still enjoys appreciation and demand today. This is thanks to its clean lines that give it a look that is simple, elegant and timeless.
The Bonaparte Armchair has a medium-high backrest. It defies convention with its shape which resembles a lumbar pillow. It has an inner shell made of beech wood and polyurethane. It is padded with foam and upholstered with premium quality leather. It has horizontal topstitching that gives it a luxe look. The seat that is slightly downturned on the inner edges is generously sized. It has the same inner shell and padding and is upholstered to match the backrest including the topstitching. The shell rests on a frame made of steel that is finished with chrome plating that gives it a gleam. It makes a stunning contrast against dark leather. The metal forms armrests and extends downwards to form sled-style legs that have gliders underneath.
The Bonaparte Armchair has a width of 63cm, a height of 74cm and a depth of 67cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It comes in light and dark-toned neutral colours.
