Tropicalia Chaise Longue
The Tropicalia chaise longue designed by Patricia Urquiola for the manufacturer Moroso was introduced in 2008.
The Tropicalia collection's design is based on a mesh pattern reminiscent of earlier Moroso furnishing collections, like Antibodi. The Tropicalia models are made of a steel tube structure in geometrical, faceted shapes, skillfully weaved in a set pattern of blank and filled spaces and refined with great care. Tropicalia is a playful and cheerful product range with strings of thermo-plastic synthetic material, free of heavy metals, recyclable, and elegant. The loungers are double-weaved and processed uni- or bicoloured. They are available in vibrant, lively colours, as well as sophisticated black & white, please see "product versions" for more information.
