Eames Lounge Chair Leather
The Eames Lounge Chair Leather has been created by Ray and Charles Eames for the brand Vitra.It is the designers' take on the club chair. The 1956 chair remains in demand and unequalled to date.
The Eames Lounge Chair Leather has a high backrest that includes a separate headrest. The two are joined with metallic bars. The backrest follows the same contours. It is reclined backwards which takes the weight off the spine and distributes it evenly offering optimal back support. It is also tilted such that the chest is well-supported. The well-sized seat is also contoured. It is turned upwards just enough to offer the same supreme comfort for the lower body. Padded and upholstered armrests enhance this. The back of the chair has a shell made of seven-ply veneer from the headrest to the lower edge of the seat. The cushions on it and upholstered individually and can be replaced. Upholstery is done with premium quality leather. The shell has a base made of die-cast aluminium finished with lacquer or chrome plating. It has four legs with gliders underneath shaped into a star.
The Eames Lounge Chair Leather has a width of 84cm, a height of 89cm and a depth of 92cm. It comes in neutral colours with different wood finishes.
