The Eames Plastic Side Chair DSX White Base has been created by Charles and Ray Eames for the brand Vitra. They are also curators and promote many of the 20th century's most iconic designs and designers. This practice started with American husband and wife, Ray and Charles Eames.
The award winning Eames Plastic Side Chair DSX White Base was launched in 1948 as one of the first chair designs to use plastic. Iconic, and just as relevant today, this 'shell' chair is cast in polypropylene placed atop steel legs. The chair's dimensions are 83cms in height, 46.4cms in width, 43cms seat height, and 55cms depth. It comes with felt gliders for hard floors, and has a wipe clean finish. Timelessly chic, the Eames Plastic Side Chair DSX White Base fits in a 21st century minimalist office as easily as in a retro inspired domestic kitchen. Use in sets for practical, durable seating.
