Hang it all Coat Rack
The Hang it all Coat Rack was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the brand Vitra.
Family owned company Vitra has specialised in classic and contemporary furniture, lighting and interior accessories since 1950. The bright and colourful design of the Hang it all Coat Rack dates from 1953 and has remained popular ever since. Ray and Charles originally designed this playful piece for children, but it has since become beloved of children and adults alike.
The Hang it all Coat Rack substitutes standard coat hooks for brightly coloured wooden balls of varying sizes attached to a sleek metal frame at different heights. This clever design allows the rack to be used not just for coats, but also for bags, backpacks, hats, umbrellas, scarves and anything else that you need to neatly store. Hang it in the hallway or from the back of a door for a convenient and eye-catching place for you and your visitors to hang their coats and hats, or add it to any wall where you want to add some interest and colour. The wooden balls are coated in high-gloss lacquer. Its compact dimensions are 50.5 x 37 x 17 cm.
