119 F Lounge Armchair
The 119 F Lounge Armchair has been created by Sebastian Herkner for the brand Thonet. German industrial designer Herkner is the 2021 winner of Milan's most prestigious award, the EDIDA Award for Best Designer of the Year. His approach to design is guided by a love for traditional craftsmanship, the use of emerging technology, and an eye and heart for original, authentic, and visually appealing pieces. His talent and approach are aptly represented in the 119 F Lounge Armchair. It stands out with its short curved backrest and the generously sized seat beneath it. The backrest is slightly titled backward for optimal comfort The woven seat that is crafted with cane and mesh reinforcement is another outstanding feature. On either side of it are armrests that are also curved inwards. The shell is made of FSC®-certified beech including the frame that surrounds the woven seat. It sits on a frame that is also made of beech. The legs are stout, sturdy ones that are rounded with gliders underneath.
The 119 F Lounge Armchair has a width of 68cm, a height of 77cm and a depth of 62cm. It has a seat height of 41cm and an armrest height of 58cm. It is available in a high gloss dark red, black or beige.
