The e15 This Chair CH05 was created by German designer Stefan Diez for the e15 label. It will be the perfect everyday chair for living rooms, studies and bedroom desks.
Diez works from his Munich base, crafting distinctive furniture pieces like the This Chair, always with a focus on minimalism, yet with a sense of humour and fun as well. Some of his finest designs have been created for e15, including the This collection, which debuted in 2013.
This is a typically minimalist furniture design, in the sense that it seeks to expose the elements in its composition. You can clearly see how the various parts of the chair fit together and there are no unnecessary decorative elements. However, this doesn't mean that the e15 This Chair CH05 lacks character. In fact, with its streamlined, sinuous shape, it's an appealing chair that will enhance business and home environments alike.
The chair has been made from oak-veneered plywood, giving it a pleasing look, keeping the weight low and making it easy to stack. It measures 52.5 x 78 x 56.5 cm, with a seat height of 48cm, and will be perfect for work settings or dinner tables.
