Pantop Suspension Lamp
The Pantop Suspension Lamp has been created by Verner Panton for the brand Verpan. Characterised by bell-shaped luminaires, the Pantop collection first appeared in 1980. One of the classics of postmodern Danish design, this range of playful lamps has now been updated and refined by Verpan, offering a chance for a new generation to discover its appeal.
In this instance, the Pantop Suspension Lamp hangs from a 250cm cable which can be adjusted to suit the needs of users. The lamp is 16.6cm tall, and is built around a bell-shaped diffuser made from matt-finished metal. A range of different colours is available to choose from, making it easy to match lamps and interior design themes. Measuring 23cm wide and 16.6cm tall, the luminaire sheds a gentle light down and outwards, providing plenty of light for dining areas and lounges alike.
Inside the shade, Panton has added room for a bulb with the E14 socket that can be ordered under accessories. Finally, installation should be easy, thanks to the relatively low weight of 1.3kg, allowing owners to position and secure their Pantop Suspension Lamp however they desire.
