D82 Illan LED Suspension Lamp
The D82 Illan LED Suspension Lamp was designed by Zsuzsanna Horvath for the brand Luceplan.
Zsuzsanna Horvath is a young architect and designer who runs her own furniture and decor design studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. Horvath created the concept of the Illan lamp for Luceplan, an Italian lighting manufacturer that always aims to produce highly functional, but also beautiful and sustainable products.
The D82 Illan LED Suspension Lamp is made of thin strips of birch plywood, woven to form a shape similar to the top half of a pear, hanging askance, with the open end perpendicular to the floor. This lightweight lamp hangs easily from any ceiling to provide a calm, gentle light through its sophisticated lines. The woven plywood pattern projects interesting and relaxing shapes on the wall of the living area or hallway where this lamp is suspended. The lamp is dimmable, and is thus suitable for more intimate moods. The D782 Illan LED Suspension Lamp is available in three sizes, with an opening diameter of 60, 80 or 100cm.
