Re-Chair
The Re-Chair has been created by Antonio Citterio for the brand Kartell. Italian architect and industrial designer Citterio takes a unique approach to design that beautifully and uniquely merges form and function. This is clear to see in the Re-Chair m ade entirely of recycled materials for the sake of sustainability. It also stands out for its design that has curves that deviate from the usual straight lines of standard chairs. Its backrest is T-shaped and its seat is rounded, providing maximum ergonomic support. Its legs are angled outwards rather than being straight, giving the chair added stability and durability. This versatile chair can be used indoors as well as outdoors. It can also be used in institutions, public places like libraries and commercial spaces from offices to cafeterias.
The Re-Chair has a width of 50.5cm, a depth of 49cm and a height of 79cm. It has a seat height of 44.5cm. It comes in an array of colours that can be chosen to blend with other pieces or to create a sharp, striking contrast for effect. It can be stacked to a maximum of six chairs, making for easy storage. It is also very easy to clean, requiring only to be wiped with a damp cloth.
