The Flai Double Bed 160x200cm has been created by KaschKasch for the brand Müller Small Living. Meaning "fly" in German, the Flai Bed seems to float above the floor due to its clever construction. Yet this floating appearance does not sacrifice strength and stability. Instead, the designers have come up with an ingenious balance of elegance and practicality.

The frame of the Flai Double Bed 160x200cm measures 216cm long by 163.6cm wide and has been made from high-quality and sustainably harvested birch plywood. The ends of the wood have been left exposed, while a protective CPL finish has been applied to the surfaces, which can be ordered in a range of colours. If desired, a headboard can be added which raises the total height of the bed to 80cm. However, the standard Flai frame is 34cm tall.

The Flai Double Bed 160x200cm is part of a larger collection of products which can be used to customise sleeping arrangements. Alongside the headboard, owners can add three-sided LED lighting to the frame and base, creating a relaxing light source for bedrooms.
