Flai Single Bed 140x200cm
The Flai Single Bed 140x200cm has been created by Kaschkasch for the brand Müller Small Living. Founded by German industrial designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneide, Kaschkasch's approach to design expresses character and attitudes, but with restraint. This approach leads them to creating pieces intriguing and functional pieces with a timeless aesthetic such as the Flai Single Bed 140x200cm that won the duo the 2018 German Design Award. This bed made of laminated birch wood or massive oak derives its name from the floating appearance it has due to its use of a hidden base rather than legs. The bed frame can hold five metallic shelves that can be used to store items such as an alarm clock, mobile phone, books and other items. The shelves have a smart inlay made of wool felt. The bed is available with or without the headboard, which has additional storage.
