The Roth Model 455 Single Bed 142x205cm has been created by Alfred Roth for the brand Embru. Interestingly, the designer developed the prototype for an alcove where he wanted to put a slidable bed with skids. The 1927 design has continued to hold its own over the decades in terms of style.
The Roth Model 455 Single Bed 142x205cm has a frame made of tubular powder-coated steel. The bed's headboard and footboard are also made of tubular steel that has been shaped with elegant curves. They are finished with chrome plating which gives it a sophisticated look. Both have gliders on either side. The headboard's incline is adjustable. It has a wedge that can be raised or lowered to suit needs and preferences such as reading in bed or sleeping with a slight incline rather than a flat headboard. The bed is also height-adjustable. In between the frame is the lying surface made of spring wooden slats that are easy to position without using tools.
