01 Chair
The 01 Chair has been created by Frama for the brand Frama.It is a play of shapes that is a whole new take on the classic chair. It is an apt representation of Nordic design tradition that is based on fundamentals like clean, crisp lines for uncluttered profiles that are timeless.
The 01 Chair is made of birch wood sourced from Lithuania. The chair has an austere design made up of straight lines. The only exception is the wedge-shaped bars on the sides which add intriguing aesthetic detail. The chair has a bar that makes up the backrest. Its wide seat has the same straight lines which gives it a box shape. Bars that join the front and back legs on either side form backrests.
The 01 Chair has a width of 45cm, a height of 81cm and a depth of 44cm. Its seat height is 46cm and its backrest height is 81cm. It comes in oiled birch which leaves the wood's warm, gold-toned grain on show. This gives it an original, organic look. It will work well with a table that is also made of wood or a metallic or dark-toned one that will contrast strikingly against it. The chair can be stacked for convenient storage.
