S 220 F Armchair
The S 220 F Armchair has been created by Sam Hecht & Kim Colin for the brand Thonet. By using moulded plywood, one of Thonet's primary innovations, the S 220 F Armchair pushes the boundaries of possibility, with its juxtaposition of precise lines and organic curves. The moulded shell is at once supportive and comfortable and the hourglass seat provides the ideal amount of give. The waterfall edge, or rounded front edge, exists to boost comfort and avoid pressure points, making this a highly durable, stackable piece. The seat height is 46cm and the armrest height is 70cm. Made with wood from FSC®-certified forestry production, this piece is also a sustainable choice.
