Shell Chair Black Oak
The Shell Chair Black Oak has been created by Michael W. Dreeben for the brand Mater. Characterised by its attractive and highly comfortable leather shell, this contemporary lounge chair will add an element of luxury to lounges and conservatories, but can be used almost anywhere in the home equally successfully.
As the name suggests, the shell of the Shell Chair Black Oak is its outstanding feature. American designer Dreeben has sculpted a curved seat which has then been upholstered with a range of leather tones and finishes. Options include pure anthracite leather which comes with a Nordic Swan Ecolabel or a pigmented leather option with a deep brandy tone. Both offer a rich visual experience and are easy to wipe clean when needed.
The shell of the chair isn't the only outstanding feature. Dreeben has also used FSC®-certified oak wood for the frame, ensuring that the Shell Chair Black Oak has a minimal environmental impact. This oak has received a black finish, which harmonises well with either leather tone. Finally, the chair measures 87cm tall, is 49cm wide and 57cm deep, with a seat height of 45cm.
