Skinny Wooden Chair
The Skinny Wooden Chair has been created by John Tree for the brand NINE. It is the designer's take on the classic wooden dining chair. Its name Skinny was inspired by its design which is pared down to the basics. Additionally, it has a slim profile. However, it is a heavyweight when it comes to style and durability.
The Skinny Wooden Chair is made of oak or ash wood. Its backrest is made of a bar of wood that curves inwards such that it cradles the back. It is wide and so is the seat below it. It is square but the rounded edges soften its straight lines. The play of shapes continues to the frame. It is made of sturdy, rounded legs that have gliders underneath. Additional bars under the seat reinforce the chair's strength and stability.
The Skinny Wooden Chair has a width of 40.6cm, a height of 78.4cm and a depth of 47.8cm. Its seat height is 45.4cm. It is available in a natural wood colour that is finished with a clear seal or in neutral and bright colours. This chair will add simple, timeless elegance to a kitchen or dining table.
