Covent Lounge Chair
The Covent Lounge Chair has been created by ARDE Design Studio for the brand New Works. ARDE is a Danish studio which fuses the latest technology with timeless aesthetics, something that's easy to discern with this gorgeous lounge chair design. Inviting relaxation and positive emotions, the Covent Lounge Chair will be a spark for conversations and inspiration wherever it is placed.
The Covent Lounge Chair catches the eye with its luxurious upholstery. The designers have carefully chosen a range of premium fabrics, including light grey Astrid Mons 3212 and charcoal Karakorum 006. Both have a rough, natural finish which feels pleasing to touch and gives the chair a visually enaging texture.
The chair wraps around the sitter, embracing them in a coccoon of softness. The Covent Lounge Chair measures 80cm wide, 73cm high and 72cm deep, while the seat is 42cm high. There are no legs to support the chunky main cushion. Instead, the chair extends to the floor in a single piece, creating a block of colour that will accent rooms beautifully. A set of protective pads have been placed on the base, ensuring that flooring damage is avoided, and keeping the chair nice and stable at all times.
