At the heart of its impact is the contrast between the sleekness of its brushed steel frame and the textured quality of its premium leather cushions. A stretched canvas backing provides support and the cushions are filled with down to enhance the sitter's comfort. Meanwhile, visible seaming adds a touch of traditional handcrafted detail to the otherwise spare, unadorned design.
