Studio 5 Modular Sofa
The Studio 5 Modular Sofa has been created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the brand Norr 11. It is a re-imagination of the classic modular sofa. It is, however, put in a class of its own with distinctive fluting.
The design of Studio 5 Modular Sofa was inspired by the décor of the 1970s. Fluting and the V-shape of some of the modules bring it into the contemporary era. The sofa is made up of different modules. They have a 360-degree finish which makes it possible to reverse them and assemble a two-sided sofa. They are securely joined using a Click-Link system. This sofa has a number of modules to choose from including ottomans, a large sofa, a corner sofa, and a range of sizes. It also has three armrest modules. The inner shell of the sofa is made of plywood. This is generously layered with cold cure foam that gives it shape and makes it firm, supportive and comfortable. A premium quality type of bouclé fabric known as Barnum keeps everything hidden. It has a loopy, textured look that works with the sofa's retro outlook.
