Studio Corner
The Studio Corner has been created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the brand Norr 11. This and other pieces in the collection are inspired by the simplicity and timelessness of the 1970s. It is part of a modular set.
The Studio Corner is a single seat. It has a rounded backrest that is set low. The backrest is divided into equal sections with stitching over the fabric. This is replicated on the generously stuffed seat below. It has the same stitching over the upholstery but the seat tapers inwards into a V-shape. The lines follow the shape so they become narrow as they go down the sides of the seat. The inner frame is made of plywood and it is well-padded with cold-cure foam. This is hidden with upholstery fabric. A fabric from the Barnum range has been used for this. It has a twirly rather than smooth texture that gives it a look of quintessential, old-school charm. It is a blend of cotton, wool, nylon, viscose and acrylic.
The Studio Corner has a width of 110cm, a height of 73cm, a depth of 96cm and a seat height of 47cm. It comes in neutral colours.
