Bureau Office Desk
The Bureau Office Desk has been created by Earnest Studio for the label Schönbuch. Fusing timeless aesthetics with cutting edge ergonomics, the Bureau Desk is a great solution for home workers and students but can also double up as a table if desired. Cleverly composed and good-looking, it will slot into homes and offices with ease.
The Bureau Office Desk immediately catches the eye with its two-tiered design. The upper surface of the desk is shaped like a rounded rectangle and measures 120cm wide by 60cm deep. But this is just half of the story. Underneath the desktop, the designers have added an extra storage area which features a couple of electrical sockets as well. That way, it's possible to store computers and other electronic accessories while keeping the surface completely clear.
The Bureau Office Desk comes in three versions. One features a tabletop constructed from MDF with a frame made from beech. Another is made entirely from walnut wood with a natural oiled finish, while the third is fashioned from solid maple wood. Various colours are available, including pure black and natural wood. In all cases, the surface has a height of 74cm, which should work well with virtually all desk chairs.
