Vier Side Table
The Vier Side Table was designed by Philipp Mainzer for the brand e15.
Mainzer was the founder of e15 in 1995 and has led the brand to become one of Germany's most important manufacturers of seating and tables for homes and offices. Always stressing simple forms, Mainzer's creations use materials with subtlety and intelligence, something which stands out with the Vier Side Table.
Meaning "four" in German, the name refers to the four squares which appear in the table surface thanks to light refracted through the dark glass framework. At its root, the Vier Side Tableis a small occasional table, measuring 40 x 40 x 40 cm. But it's much more than that. The eye is immediately captured by its glass frame, which can be ordered in a choice of cool, soothing colours. These set up the four-way look of the surface, allowing light to pass through with ease. The table can be flipped on its side for use as a shelving rack, while rubber feet can also be applied to protect the fragile base. Dazzling with its glass surfaces and use of light, this table will elevate contemporary interiors wherever it is placed.
