375 Table Lamp with Paper Shade
The 375 Table Lamp with Paper Shade was created by Esben Klint for the famous Danish design company Le Klint.
Esben Klint was part of the Klint dynasty of designers and architects, following in the footsteps of his father Kaare Klint who was known for creating the interiors in the Danish Museum of Art and Design. Today, the brand Le Klint carries on their legacy as they reproduce some of the family's best-loved designs as well as commissioning upcoming designers to create new pieces.
First produced in 1942, the 375 Table Lamp with Paper Shade has been imitated and copied ever since, but none can hold a candle to the original. Created from an intricately folded paper shade, it has an inviting and tactile texture, which is understated and soft yet also pleasingly graphic and modern. The lamp375 Table Lamp with Paper Shade sits on top of a small oak plinth which leaves plenty of space on a side or bedside table. The lamp comes in three different sizes, and all sizes take an energy-efficient LED bulb that creates a soft glow, further diffused into a warm, low light by the paper shade.
