Gira Table Lamp
The Gira Table Lamp was designed by J.M. Tremoleda, J.M. Massana and Mariano Ferrer for the brand Santa&Cole.
When they created the Gira Table Lamp, the three pioneers in industrial design set out to exemplify the design history of Barcelona, which revolves around design simplicity and versatility. The table lamp attained a global acclaim at its launching and has since brought numerous awards to Santa&Cole such as the PYME prize, and has featured in various exhibitions.
Fashioned to tilt on its axis and equipped with an adjustable diffuser, the Gira Table Lamp beautifully illuminates either work or living spaces. Simple but innovative, the lamp provides a well-balanced and versatile lighting solution. Its cast steel base is 16cm in diameter and the adjustable conical shade measures 10cm in height and 16cm in diameter. This luminaire uses a 225cm long cable that facilitates flexibility, be it in an office, living room or hotel lobby. The rotating arm has a horizontal height of 54cm. One of the most distinguishing aspects of this lamp is its ability to cultivate an intimate relationship between light, the environment, and the user.
