Yanzi 1 LED Suspension Lamp
The Yanzi 1 LED Suspension Lamp was created by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu for the label Artemide.
Neri and Hu teamed up to form the Neri&Hu Design and Research Office in Shanghai, China, in 2004. Composed of multi-cultural staff, the label works on many projects in many countries as they strive to live up to the expectation of a global world view that involves the incorporation of overlapping designs to create a new paradigm in architecture. Consequently, these designers chose not to conform to conventional formulae when designing lights but endeavoured to combine material, detail, experience and light to produce fascinating lamps. These designers have won numerous awards, including the Red Dot Awards, Perspective Awards, Contractworld Awards, AR Awards and World Architecture Festival Awards.
Made of blown glass, brass and steel, the Yanzi 1 LED Suspension Lamp can withstand various elements of weather and hence is durable and effective. It measures 156.4cm in length, 31cm in height and has a 15.2cm canopy diameter. The lamp has a generous suspension height of 1043cm. It plugs into the 220-240V mains at the wall and has the IP20 Protection Class safety stamp. Added safety assurance comes from its CE mark and the Italian Seal of Approval.
