U-Turn LED Floor Light/Reading Light
The U-Turn Floor Light/Reading Light has been created by Michel Charlot for the brand Belux. Swiss industrial designer Charlot won the brand Design Preis Schweiz and Swiss Design Awards for the first lamp in the U-Turn series. These are the most prestigious awards that can be awarded to industrial designers in Switzerland. In keeping with the tradition of Swiss precision quality, Belux produces sophisticated light solutions for homes and commercial spaces. The brand's goal is to create novel lighting that completely changes the look and feel of a space. That objective was achieved and surpassed with the U-Turn Floor Light/Reading Light. This versatile piece is a floor lamp and also a reading or task light. The lamp has an aluminum stem and shades that are made of acrylic glass. The shades cast light upwards as well as downwards. This is thanks to a magnetic ball joint and an adjustable angle of radiation that make the reading light very flexible. The intensity of the warm white light it casts can be controlled with a push-button dimmer.
The U-Turn Floor Light/Reading Light has a height of 133.5cm and a diameter of 23.1cm. Its cable is 200cm long. The luminaire has built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced.
