The Rime Suspension Lamp Ø 45cm was designed by TAF Studio for the brand Muuto.
TAF is a joint venture of Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom, who work out of Stockholm. Their focus ranges broadly, incorporating products as disparate as armchairs, sofas, and wall lights. But the Rima suspension light collection that the duo created for Danish brand Muutocould be their finest creation thus far.
The Rime Suspension Lamp Ø 45cm is one of the largest additions to the collection, measuring 45 x 55.5 cm. As with all Rime products, it comes with an attractive acorn-shaped diffuser and will make a beautiful impression in interior settings. The diffuser has been made from delicately blown glass, which lends the piece an almost ghost-like texture and spreads a gentle light in all directions. This has been matched with a matt finish PVC socket with an extended cable to hang the lamp as users desire. This sets up a neat contrast, while allowing the shade to take centre stage, which is where it belongs. The Rime Suspension Lamp Ø 45cm is supplied equipped with an E27/12W LED bulb, which can be changed as needed.
