Twiggy Wood LED Suspension Lamp
The Twiggy Wood LED Suspension Lamp can be created by Marc Sadler for the brand Foscarini. Austria-born but based in Italy, Sadler creates items marked by innovation and experimentation. His creative talent shines in Twiggy - a collection of lamps first created in 2007 that has now been updated to reflect changing technology and design concepts.
Timed to coincide with Twiggy's 15th birthday, the Twiggy Wood LED Suspension Lamp has the collection's signature round shade made from bleached maple wood. This shade retains the grain of the maple, and has a wide downward-facing opening. Inside, Sadler has added a coloured diffuser made from liquid-coated fiberglass-based composite, and this diffuser casts a soft light downwards, creating a mixture of direct and indirect light.
The Twiggy Wood LED Suspension Lamp has a height of 29cm and a diameter of 46cm, with a suspension height of 45cm and a weight of 2kg. It suspends from the ceiling via a transparent and self-supporting electrical cable. Two options are available, including one non-dimmable version, and one that can be dimmed via Bluetooth using the Casambi app. Both versions come in a refined grey colour, and will add class and soothing light to any room of the home.
