Unika Suspension Lamp S
The Unika Suspension Lamp S has been created by Anne Louise Due de Fønss and Anders Lundqvist for the brand Northern. Working out of their international studio, the two combine their expertise as an architect and industrial designer. Together they create sculpted, minimalist pieces that pay homage to their Nordic heritage but also have detailing that sets them apart and makes them timeless. This is evidenced in the Unika Suspension Lamp S. At first glance, it resembles a wine glass that has been turned upside down. This is because of the curves on the shade, which is made of mouth-blown glass. At the top, the diffuser has a narrow opening that is just large enough to let through the brass-toned mounting fixture. It then broadens out and tapers towards a bottom that has been left open. The lamp is suspended from the ceiling with a twisted cable that adds intrigue.
The Unika Suspension Lamp S has a diameter of 10.5 cm and a height of 13.5 cm. Its double twisted cable is 250cm long and its canopy has a diameter of 6.5cm. It is externally dimmable and comes with a choice between transparent or grey glass. The appropriate lamp with the E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
