Butterfly Perforated Wall Lamp
The Butterfly Perforated Wall Lamp has been created by Sven I. Dysthe for the brand Northern. The late Norwegian industrial designer Dysthe has many pieces on show at prestigious art museums such as London's Victoria & Albert Museum, The Stockholm National Museum and The National Museum in Oslo. This includes the Butterfly Perforated Wall Lamp he designed in 1964. This iconic lamp has a timeless design. It gets its name from the winged shape on either side and a smaller component in the middle that resembles a butterfly. The three overlapping panels have perforations that diffuse light across the surface. This gives a bright, luminous glowing light when the lamp is on. The updated version by Northern has retained the detachable pull string switch. The body is made of steel while the shade is fashioned from perforated steel or brass and is now available in a selection of colours. The lamp is also available with a solid shade that has no perforations.
The Butterfly Perforated Wall Lamp has a height of 21cm, a depth of 10cm and a length of 20cm. Its cable is 200cm long. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
