Nº8 LED Wall Lamp
The Nº8 LED Wall Lamp has been created by Christophe Mathieu for the brand Marset. First appearing in 2016, the Nº8 was intended to be both a sensual delight and a practical lighting option for bedrooms, studies and living rooms. With its elegant wooden textures and curved arm, it manages to balance beauty and functionality.
The shade of the Nº8 LED Wall Lamp takes the form of a 6.5cm diameter sphere with an opening on one side. Made from oak or wenge wood, it has been hand-sculpted to create a smooth, flawless finish. This shade connects to a flexible arm which can be calibrated to shed light in any direction and consists of a metallic core with an upholstered covering. In turn, the lamp attaches to walls via a round metal plate with an 11.5cm diameter - anchoring the design effectively and guaranteeing a stable light source.
Adaptable and attractive, the Nº8 LED Wall Lamp can be controlled via an integrated rocker switch which has been placed on the wall plate. Both the height and inclination of the lamp can be altered, while it produces a strong light for reading or computer work. The lamp has a built-in LED light source which cannot be replaced.
